Verisurf Expands East Coast Presence with Addition of Sales Engineers to Support Growing Metrology Demand

Anaheim, Calif., April 20, 2026 — Verisurf Software, Inc., a leader in measurement solutions for manufacturing, is pleased to announce the addition of three new sales engineers dedicated to supporting customers across the eastern United States. This strategic expansion strengthens Verisurf’s ability to help manufacturers develop and implement effective metrology application strategies at a time when demand for precision measurement continues to accelerate.

The global metrology market is experiencing steady growth, driven by increased quality requirements, tighter tolerances, and the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation and digital twins. Industry analysts project continued expansion over the next decade as manufacturers invest in smarter inspection processes and data-driven quality control. In this environment, organizations are seeking scalable, flexible metrology solutions that can integrate seamlessly into existing workflows.

However, implementing a robust metrology strategy remains a challenge for many manufacturers. Common obstacles include integrating measurement data across multiple platforms, and addressing workforce skill gaps. Additionally, companies often struggle with inefficiencies caused by proprietary software limitations and lack of interoperability between CAD systems and inspection equipment. These challenges can slow production, increase costs, and limit the ability to maintain consistent quality standards.

Verisurf addresses these challenges with a comprehensive, open-platform measurement solution designed for flexibility and ease of use. Verisurf software is fully compatible with all major CAD file formats, enabling users to work directly with native design data without translation errors. Its hardware-agnostic approach supports all types of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), including fixed CMMs, laser trackers, portable arms, and optical scanners. This universal compatibility allows manufacturers to standardize processes, maximize existing equipment investments, and streamline training across teams.

By expanding its sales engineering team in the eastern region, Verisurf is enhancing its ability to provide localized expertise and hands-on support. The new team members will work closely with customers to evaluate current inspection workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement tailored metrology strategies that improve accuracy, speed, and overall productivity.

“Manufacturers today are under increasing pressure to deliver higher quality products faster and more efficiently,” said Nick Merrell, Executive Vice President of Verisurf Software, Inc. “Our investment in expanding the sales engineering team reflects our commitment to helping customers overcome metrology challenges with practical, scalable solutions. With Verisurf’s open platform and universal device compatibility, we empower organizations to unify their measurement processes and adapt quickly to evolving production demands.”

This expansion comes at a pivotal time for the manufacturing sector, as companies continue to modernize operations and adopt advanced inspection technologies. Verisurf’s customer-focused approach, combined with its powerful and flexible software platform, positions the company to support continued growth and innovation across industries including aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and precision machining.
