IMTS 2026 attendees can get a firsthand look at the new Renishaw PH20 PLUS 5-axis touch-trigger system powered by Verisurf Software at Booth 134330.

The PH20 PLUS expands the capabilities of Renishaw’s proven PH20 platform with greater reach and flexibility. With a maximum working length of up to 300 mm from the center of the A-axis, the new system provides more than 50% greater reach than the current PH20. This added capability improves access to deep, recessed, and difficult-to-measure features while maintaining the speed and efficiency of 5-axis touch-trigger measurement.

Verisurf Software helps manufacturers take full advantage of that expanded capability through an intuitive, CAD-based approach to inspection. Intelligent model-based definition (MBD) helps accelerate measurement planning, while powerful device controls and repeatable inspection routines simplify programming, optimize measurement strategies, and support consistent process control.

For existing PH20 users, upgrading is straightforward. PH20 PLUS is backward compatible and designed as a direct replacement for PH20, maintaining compatibility with existing TP20 modules, excluding the extended force module. The powered PCR20 rack can automatically exchange multiple probe modules and accessories for flexible, automated inspection routines.

Verisurf technical specialists will be available throughout IMTS to discuss specific manufacturing challenges and demonstrate how the software integrates with virtually all major CAD systems, CMMs, portable measurement devices, laser trackers, scanners, and machine tool probing systems to create flexible, interoperable inspection solutions.
