Founded in 1984, the Coordinate Metrology Society (CMS) is a large membership of users, service providers, and OEM manufacturers of close tolerance, industrial coordinate measurement technology. These metrology systems include inspection software, traditional CMMs, theodolites, GPS, laser projection systems, laser trackers, laser radar, photogrammetry/ videogrammetry systems, scanning devices, and articulating arms.
The Coordinate Metrology Society is devoted to expanding and promoting the usage of mobile metrology systems. The membership assembles each year at the Coordinate Metrology Society Conference (CMSC) to learn about the latest in-use advancements and new product developments in measurement software or systems that produce, utilize, and analyze three-dimensional coordinate data.
Verisurf Software, Inc. is the leader in real time model based inspection including tool-building, FAI & in-process inspection, 3D scanning, and reverse engineering. The software interfaces with the latest in 3D measurement technology and makes them more productive, whether it be stationary programmable and manual CMMs, portable CMM measuring arms, laser trackers, scanners, and laser projectors. You can request Verisurf as your software option at many OEMs or it can be added later to improve performance, capabilities, and commonality across all metrology devices. Our software allows you to readily switch between devices of all OEMs that include (but not limited to): FARO, Hexagon, Leica, API, Perceptron, Nikon, Zeiss, Creaform, peel 3D, Shining3D, Renishaw, Scantech, Smarttech3D, Kreon, AIMS, Made2Measure and more. Verisurf owns, operates, and provides the complete solution on all metrology equipment. Our technical staff, with many years of broad application experience, provides consulting and assistance to keep your capabilities sharp and productive.
Our customers and interested observers have blessed us with their presence in our booth for demos and a chat for many years now and this year will be great to reconnect and show what we’ve been up to. And as always we are keen to hear “wouldn’t it be nice if metrology software could do this” comments so we can then add them to the great software you have helped perfect. And we will be demoing on trackers, scanners, arms, and other gear as usual.
