Verisurf V5 provides real-time, model-based inspection and computer-aided manufacturing within a seat of CATIA V5 with no translations or approximations. The highlight of the latest release is that users of laser trackers, CMMs and portable articulating arms will now be able to work with imbedded FT&A (Functional Tolerancing and Annotation) within CATIA. This represents a huge step forward in MBD (model based definition). Another feature of the new Verisurf V5 release is that inspection results can be written directly into Microsoft Excel, external databases, advanced MBD platforms and PDM (Product Data Management) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
